Every single municipality in Oxford County currently has at least 1 case of the virus. Woodstock has the highest number of active cases with 8, followed by Norwich of 5.
OXFORD/ST.THOMAS/ELGIN - Southwestern Public Health is reporting 6 new cases of the virus this morning.
Over the weekend we had 13 new confirmed cases and 7 recoveries.
We currently have 53 active cases of the virus in the region with 19 in Oxford County. Here is the breakdown of the locations according to Southwestern Public Health:

Ingersoll - 1
Blandford-Blenheim - 1
East Zorra-Tavistock
Zorra Township - 1
South-West Oxford - 1
Bayham - 32
Aylmer - 2
To date we have had 7 institutional outbreaks at Long Term Care Homes. We currently only have 1 active outbreak at the Secord Trails LTC home in Ingersoll where 1 staff member has tested positive. 5 people from the region have died from the virus. Southwestern Public Health is also dealing with an outbreak at an Orchard Farm in Bayham where 40 workers have tested positive.
The number one symptom that has led to a positive test in the region is a cough, followed by a fever. Other symptoms that have resulted in positive tests include fatigue, headache, sore throat, shortness of breath and nasal congestion just to name a few. 17% of people who have tested positive in our region were asymptomatic. We currently have 1 person in the hospital with COVID-19 from the region.
