For the first time this week, the amount of new cases is higher then the resolved cases. Also 15 people are now in the hospital, including 6 in the ICU and more people have tested positive at TDMH.
OXFORD/ST.THOMAS/ELGIN - Southwestern Public Health is reporting 19 new cases of COVID-19 this morning and 14 resolved cases.

15 people are currently being treated for the virus at the hospital and 6 of those patients are in the ICU. This data only reflects SWPH patients and is not an indicator of our local hospital capacity. It is a reflection of how many people locally had a sever enough illness from COVID-19 to end up in the hospital or ICU.
An Outbreak has been declared at the Caressant Care Nursing Home in Woodstock and the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital.
Caressant Care has 4 residents and 5 staff members who have tested positive for COVID-19, meanwhile 7 patients and 4 staff members at the hospital have tested positive.
