We are down to just 61 active cases of COVID-19 in the Southwestern Public Health region after the health unit confirmed just 2 new cases today and 26 recoveries.
OXFORD/ST.THOMAS/ELGIN - Southwestern Public Health has confirmed 2 new cases of the virus today and 26 resolved cases.
We currently have 4 people in the hospital with the virus and none are in the ICU at the moment. The Health Unit is reporting 61 active cases with 23 in Woodstock. Here is the breakdown of the locations according to Southwestern Public Health:

Ingersoll - 6
Zorra Township - 2
East Zorra-Tavistock - 2
Norwich Township - 1
St. Thomas - 8
Dutton/Dunwich - 2
Malahide - 1
West Elgin - 1
Aylmer - 1
The Health Unit is also reporting 2 active outbreaks at the Caressant Care Retirement Home in Woodstock and the Valleyview Nursing Home in St. Thomas.
