A total of 139 staff and residents have now tested positive for COVID-19 at Maple Manor in Tillsonburg and PeopleCare in Tavistock. We currently have 401 active cases of the virus in our community. 19 people are in the hospital, including 6 in the ICU.
OXFORD/ST.THOMAS/ELGIN - Southwestern Public Health is reporting 47 new cases of the virus today and 21 recoveries.
We currently have 19 people in the hospital with the virus, including 6 in the ICU. The health unit is reporting 401 active cases with most of them in Tillsonburg, Woodstock, Aylmer and St. Thomas. Here is the breakdown of the locations according to Southwestern Public Health:

The Health Unit is also reporting 8 active outbreaks at long term care homes. The outbreak at the Maple Manor Nursing Home in Tillsonburg has50 residents who have tested positive for the virus and 33 staff members. One resident at Maple Manor has died. The outbreak at PeopleCare in Tavistock now includes 32 residents and 24 staff members.
