Calling all aspiring photographers and selfie addicts! Southwestern Public Health and the What the Health team have kicked off their #OxfordHike4Health summer photo contest.
OXFORD COUNTY - Southwestern Public Health and members of the What The Health team are encouraging shutter bugs to get out there and enjoy the outdoors with a new photo contest.
They want you to visit the many trails in Oxford, and post a photo on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram with #OxfordHike4Health.
Student Advocate Jaime Waite says the picture could be anything you want it to be.
"You can take a picture with friends, with your dog, it could be scenic, it can be a selfie, or even an artsy photo of nature."
Three entries will be selected to receive a $100 Visa gift card. The contest started yesterday and it will continue all summer long; wrapping up on August 31st.
Waite has some advice for those getting ready to hit the trails.
"You should remember to bring water, sunscreen, insect repellent and just anything to stay safe and make sure you have an enjoyable time on the trails because they really are an amazing place to be!"
