A range of different activities has been outlined by Southwestern Public Health, showing which carry a low, medium and high risk in spreading COVID-19.
OXFORD - Southwestern Public Health has outlined which activities present a low, medium and high risk of spreading COVID-19 in the community.
The information was posted on their Facebook last Thursday, listing a variety of activities.
They say low risk activities are things like practicing physical distancing at all times and limiting your errands to once a week. Also, they say shopping for essentials is considered a low-risk activity,
They say shopping in stores more than twice a week and standing less than six feet from someone is considered medium risk. Other activities that carry a medium-risk include visiting friends and family who don’t live with you.
Also, high risk activities are activities such as visiting busy stores, attending large gatherings of any kind and poor hand hygiene.
SWPH says to share the information with loved ones over the phone if they don’t have Facebook or access to the internet.
