Southwestern Public Health and London-Middlesex are moving to the red zone on Tuesday, while Brant, Huron Perth and Haldimand Norfolk will move to orange.
OXFORD COUNTY - Southwestern Public Health Region will be moving to the red tier of the colour coded system from the Province on Tuesday.
Nearby London Middlesex and Waterloo Region will be joining us in the red. Meanwhile Brant County, Huron Perth and Haldimand-Norfolk will be going to the orange tier.
Being in red means you can have 5 people indoors or 25 outdoors. Restaurants and bars can open with strict limits and they are allowed 10 customers at a time.
This is the same for sports and recreation facilities. In the red zone, retail stores can open with Capacity limits of:
- 75% for supermarkets and other stores that primarily sell groceries, convenience stores, pharmacies.
- 50% for all other retail, including discount and big box retailers, liquor stores, hardware stores and garden centres.
Some personal care services, such as salons and barber shops can open with capacity limits. Oxygen bars, steam rooms, saunas, bath houses and other adult venues must remain closed.
Cinemas and Performing Arts facilities must remain closed as well.
