As it stands, Oxford County has 11 cases overall and Elgin and St.Thomas has 65 cases in total after six recoveries were reported today.
OXFORD/ELGIN/ST.THOMAS - There are no new cases to report in the Southwestern Public Health region today.
As it stands, Oxford County still has 11 cases overall while there are a total of 65 cases in Elgin and St.Thomas.The health unit also reported six recoveries in Elgin and St.Thomas today.
Tillsonburg still has nine cases overall and there are still two cases in Norwich.
Since the pandemic started there have been four institutional outbreaks, with the most recent one happening at the Terrace Lodge on July 31st in Alymer. The outbreak at the Terrace Lodge is active and it involves one staff member.
Meanwhile, the previous three outbreaks have all been resolved.
To date, SWPH has had 202 cumulative cases with 127 resolved and five deaths.There have been 18,491 tests completed so far, receiving 17,953 tests and 17,751 came back negative.
