The event will feature topics on safety and health, along with local service providers.
Southwestern Public Health is aiming to help adults stay safe as they get older.
They will be hosting a free event at the Chartwell Oxford Gardens on November 14 from 1-4pm.
Public Health Nurse for Southwestern Public Health Joanne Montgomery says the event will provide information on how adults can take care of themselves.
"This is why we are bringing together health professionals to assess your balance, vision and hearing in one location and to receive advice and referrals for a more in-depth review if needed."
Community Relations Manager of Chartwell Oxford Gardens Kathryn Deweerd says this is also a chance for older adults to learn from local professionals.
"Chartwell Oxford Gardens is pleased to be able to host this free event that will offer opportunities for older adults to have one-on-one conversations with community partners to help them stay safe while leading an active and independent lifestyle."
You can pre-register by contacting Southwestern Public Health at 519-421-9901 ext.3431.
