The proposal of a Safe Consumption Site in the "Friendly City" will have its day for debate and Council wants to make sure you have your opportunity to speak up.
Mayor, Jerry Acchione says the time to become a delegate is running out.
"The deadline to put in a name to register as a delegation is September 22nd. This meeting, of course, we will be holding on the 26th of September at 1 p.m. at City Hall."
Acchione adds, hearing from all with an opinion about this issue.
"We want to hear from everybody, and these are people that are in favour of it or against. This is open, and Council's got a big decision about Safe Injection Sites coming up."
If you want to become a delegate visit the City website and fill out the form.
Also, if you don't want to speak on the issue, but have an interest to hear the opinions, you are welcome to Council Chambers on the 26th and listen in. If you can't make it live, you are able to watch the meeting on the City's YouTube page.
