Moist unstable airmass could produce heavy rain and thunderstorms in Oxford today.
A special weather statement has been issued for Woodstock, Tillsonburg and the rest of Oxford County.
Thunderstorms with heavy rain are expected to fill the region today. Environment Canada says scattered showers and thunderstorms are being caused by a moist, unstable airmass that is impacting most of Southern Ontario. Some of the thunderstorms today could produce heavy rain and in some sections of the County we may get anywhere between 20-40 mm of rain. Higher amounts may be possible in areas that get more than thunderstorm or where thunderstorms are nearly stationary.
We will continue to monitor the weather throughout the day and will update you accordingly.
