A cold front will sweep through the region this afternoon, producing strong winds and frigid temperatures.
Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for most of Southwestern Ontario, including Oxford County.
They warn of the potential for sever winds this afternoon and early evening. Wind gusts could reach between 70 and 80 km/h.
This could cause power outages and the wind gusts could toss loose objects or cause tree branches to break. The strong winds will also impact driving conditions, make sure to keep two hands on the wheel.
Strong winds expected Wednesday.
