UPDATE: Two men suffered non life threatening injuries after a stabbing in downtown Woodstock this morning and the canine unit and Officer Striker were brought in to help track down one of the suspects.

WOODSTOCK - Two people are in the hospital with non life threatening injuries after a stabbing in downtown Woodstock.
Police were called to Dundas street just before 9:00 a.m. this morning. Two men were walking on the street when they were approached by another man who is known to them. The three started arguing and that is when things went south. Police say a 30 year old Ingersoll man pulled out a knife and stabbed a 24 year old man from Ingersoll. The third man a 31 year old from Ingersoll pulled out a weapon and threatened the assailant.
The 30 year old took off on foot and police brought in the canine unit and officer striker to track him down.
The 31 and 30 year old males have been charged with weapons related offences.
The 24 year old and 30 year old males were transported to hospital and have suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The Woodstock Police crime unit are continuing with the investigation.

WOODSTOCK - Two people are in the hospital after a stabbing in downtown Woodstock.
Few details are known at this time. Woodstock Police constable Nikki VanLeeuwen was able to confirm that a stabbing did happen in downtown Woodstock this morning. They do have person of interest in custody. She did say they do not have concerns for public safety at this time.
No word on the extent of the injuries of the two people in the hospital at this time. We will provide you with more information as soon as it becomes available.
