Starting this Tuesday COVID-19 testing will be available at 18 pharmacies in Southwestern Ontario, including in Woodstock, London Stratford, St. Thomas, K/W and Brantford.
WOODSTOCK - The Premier of Ontario announced this afternoon that 18 pharmacies in Southwestern Ontario and the Niagara Region will start offering COVID-19 testing on Tuesday.
This includes testing at a Shoppers Drug Mart in Woodstock. Premier Doug Ford made the announcement this afternoon.
"I have to give a shoutout to Shoppers, up to 18 more pharmacies in Southwestern Ontario and Niagara Region will be offering testing as early as this Tuesday."
The new locations include Niagara Falls, London, Windsor, Brights Grove, Kitchener Waterloo, Cambridge, Brantford, Chatham, Stratford, Woodstock and St. Thomas. Ford says this is just the beginning of COVID-19 tests at pharmacies.
"We are going to keep expanding to more pharmacies across the Province in the coming weeks, but the biggest thing we can all do is to make sure surgeries are not delayed, to make sure we have enough hospital beds and to follow all of the public health measures, wash your hands, practice physical distancing, wear a mask and please get a flu shot. It is these simple things that can save lives and it is up to all of us to do our part."
