If your driving by Pittock Park today don't be alarmed if you see a stranded sailboat out on the water. The boat overturned in the water Saturday around 3pm with two adults aboard. A mother and son were out sailing when a gust of wind caused the boat to overturn. Both boaters were wearing life jackets and whistles and were able to swim safely to the North Shore. The boat remains stranded in the middle of the water with an orange buoy attached.
