Two people from Stratford have been arrested in connection with a rash of vehicle and property related thefts in Middlesex, Oxford, Perth and Elgin counties. OPP arrested 39 year-old Paul Rayner and 34 year-old Melissa Gunton on Saturday after a theft in London. Police say their investigation led them to the pair and a number of stolen items including a GMC Sierra truck. Rayner has been charged with: Nine counts of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 Possession, use, traffic credit card as per section Two counts of Breach of Probation Order Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000 Gunton has been charged with: Nine counts of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 Two counts of Breach of Probation Order Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000 Both have been remanded into custody. OPP are in the process of returning the stolen items to all of the victims.
