SUV takes drive in to a whole new level in Stratford and strong winds cause downed power lines.
STRATFORD - Three people suffered minor injuries after an SUV drove into the Two Gals and a Diner restaurant in Stratford.
The restaurant was packed for brunch yesterday morning around 10:00 a.m. when the SUV slammed into the glass front entrance. Four people were injured and three were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The 86 year old man driving the SUV was trying to park yesterday morning when he put his foot on the gas instead of the brake.
Damage to the restaurant is estimated at $20,000.

STRATFORD - The wind storm hit Stratford pretty hard causing two downed power lines.
Police say the wind uprooted a couple of large trees in the Festival city, causing power outages and property damage. Several cars and homes were damaged by falling limbs and downed trees.
The apartment building at 25 Kappele Cir had a portion of its roof blown off.
