Stratford Police are investigating a call about $4 000 worth of grocery items taken from Sobeys
STRATFORD - Stratford Police are asking for the public's help after a theft from Sobeys.
A woman entered the store, filled a shopping cart with items including meat, baby formula, chewing gum, and general merchandise. She then left the store without paying. A van was waiting for her outside the store with one other person inside.
Police received the call shortly after 9 a.m. yesterday. The woman spent considerable time in the store and appeared calm and well organized.
The estimated value of the goods taken is $4 000.
