The police service in Stratford were kept busy over the past two days responding to over 50 calls
STRATFORD - The Stratford Police were kept busy over the past 24 hours responding to 52 calls.
Before seven yesterday morning officers were called out to a two vehicle collision at the intersection of Brunswick and Waterloo. A 43 year old man driving a GMC truck failed to stop for a red light and collided with a jeep driven by a woman travelling on Waterloo street. Both vehicles had to be towed, but only minor injuries were reported.
Around 1:30 two women went into the Huron Street Shoppers Drug Mart and took packages of allergy medication. They were last seen climbing into a sedan with tinted licence plate covers.
And then during a RIDE program last night one vehicle attempted to dodge the RIDE by quickly turning around. Officers stopped the vehicle and found open liquor inside.
