Western University students will be walking out of class tomorrow in response to the recent sexual assault allegations at a first-year student residence.
LONDON - A student walkout is in the works at Western University.
This is in response to the allegations that recently surfaced over social media, suggesting over 30 women were drugged and sexually assaulted at Medway-Sydenham Hall over the weekend.
A London Police investigation is currently underway.
The walkout will be taking place tomorrow at 12:00 p.m. and there will be a meeting at UC Hill before the demonstrators walk around campus. Everyone is being asked to wear teal and to wear a mask.
The event is being organized by a group of more than 20 students and you can read their full mission statement in the Twitter post below.
