Community Employment Services is offering a couple of programs for students on the lookout for seasonal employment this summer.
WOODSTOCK - Summer is just around the corner and that means there are lots of students on the lookout for a summer job.
Liz Wismer-Van Meer, Communication Assistant with Community Employment Services Oxford says a lot of students have been turning to them for help.
"A lot of youth of course knocking on our door right now at Community Employment Services saying they are looking for part time employment, whether that's after school or even some summer employment opportunities."
CES Oxford will be opening their student centre in the first week of May.
Wismer-Van Meer says they also offer their Youth Job Link program for youth between the ages of 15 and 29.
"If you've never been employed this is a great opportunity for you and we are going to work with you, get you some job ready training, set you up with some local employers and there's up to $300 in employment start up."
Those on the job hunt are also welcome to stop by one of the Community Employment Services offices or visit their website.
