The Sun-Sational Summer online charity auction in support of the South Gate Centre kicks off today.

WOODSTOCK - The South Gate Centre is hosting an online silent auction starting today.

The Sun-Sational charity auction will start today, Wednesday June 17th and run until Friday June 26th. They have a ton of amzing items to bid on.

In order to bid on an item, you must create an account on 32auctions and be logged in so they can properly track and record WHO is bidding and then contact you if you are the successful bidder. They will not disseminate the information for any other purpose. You must have an email address in order to create an account.

Here are the steps to take part in the Sun-Sational Online Charity auction for the Southgate Centre.

1 - Go online to the website www.32auctions.com/southgate
2 - Go to the top right corner of the page and click “Login.”
3 - If you do not have an account, click “Create an account now.” (If you already have an account, fill in your email address and password and click Login.)
4 - Follow the instructions on the page. You will need First Name, Last Name, Email Address, and a Password. (We recommend writing down the information so you do not forget it.) Check off the 3 boxes and click “Create Account.”
5 - An email will be sent to the email address provided. Follow the instructions in that email to finish creating your account.
6 - Once your account is created, go back to the auction website (32auctions.com/southgate), find the list of items available, and bid on your favourite ones!

The auction is open for anyone to bid on, they do have some alcohol items, so whoever comes to pick those items up must be 19 or older.

Payment of the items will not be done through the website. Once someone is the winner of the item, they will be contacted by Southgate and you can pay over the phone using a credit card, or they can pay in person when they come to pick up the items (with exact cash, check, or credit card)
