Oxford OPP is seeking the public's assistance in locating a vehicle possibly related to hit & run.
SOUTHWEST OXFORD -- Oxford OPP is continuing to investigate a fail to remain collision involving a cyclist that occurred last month.
On August 28th around 9:15 pm, a 33 year-old male cyclist was travelling southbound on Culloden Line in Southwest Oxford Township, just south of Union Road.
A southbound vehicle hit the cyclist from behind, throwing him from his bike and into a ditch causing serious injuries.
Witnesses of the collision stopped to assist the cyclist while the driver of the suspect vehicle fled the scene.
OPP now say they are looking for a 2007 - 2009 Dodge Ram pickup that is red or a similar colour that would likely have damage to the front grill and passenger side corner.
Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call Oxford OPP 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
