OPP are investigating a suspicious fire at a business in Dorchester that caused about $1 million in damage.
DORCHESTER - OPP are investigating a suspicious fire at a business on Elgin Road in Dorchester.
Fire crews rushed to the scene around 2:00 am Thursday morning. They were greeted with flames coming from the window of the business. Firefighters with Thames Centre Fire Services and Middlesex Centre Fire Services extinguished the blaze. Damage is estimated at more than one million dollars.
The cause of the fire is suspicious in nature. The Office of the Ontario Fire Marshal is presently at the scene conducting an investigation.
