WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police are warning the public about a suspicious vehicle that was following a student on Halloween.
Police say the pickup truck appeared to be following the 15 year old girl in the area of Parkinson Road and Fyfe Avenue around 9:40 a.m. yesterday. The student immediately notified staff at a nearby school and police were called.
The vehicle is described as a white pickup truck with heavily tinted windows. The driver was a man with medium length brown hair and moustache.
Woodstock Police would like to remind pedestrians that when walking:
- Walk in pairs or groups if possible
- Take a route that is populated and well lit rather than isolated pathways
- Do not stop or engage with unknown vehicles
- Yell for help and run away if an unknown vehicle approaches
