OXFORD/ST.THOMAS/ELGIN - Southwestern Public Health confirmed 53 new cases of COVID-19 this morning and 36 recoveries.
The Health Unit also confirmed the 92nd COVID-19 related death in our region over the weekend. The deceased is an 85 year old man from Aylmer.

Eight people are currently being treated for the virus in hospital, including three people in the ICU.
The Health Unit says 86.6 percent of eligible residents have received their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and 83.2 percent have been fully vaccinated.
