Southwestern Public Health says an Elgin man in his 70s has passed away and his death is not related to an outbreak.
SWPH - Southwestern Public Health has confirmed one new COVID-19 related death in our region.
Officials say it was a man in his 70s from Elgin and his death is not linked to any of the ongoing outbreaks in our area.
The Health Unit also reported 85 new cases of the virus this morning, bringing the total number of active cases up to 732. You can find the complete breakdown of active cases below:

Please note these numbers do not include rapid test results. They are for the PCR tests administered by Southwestern Public Health.
Southwestern Public Health says 28 people are currently being treated for the virus in hospital and 10 of them are in the ICU.
