The public now have a place to assess health risks related to measles.
OXFORD COUNTY - Southwestern Public Health is making it easier to track measles exposure risks.
The new online option, which can be found here, provides information about known measles exposure sites and timelines, guidance about whether you may be at risk of measles, and actions to take if you have been exposed.
This comes after the health unit on January 29th notified the community it was managing the current measles situation as an outbreak.
The tool was created following a partnership with Hamilton Public Health, and is not intended to replace advice or assessments from your healthcare provider or those experiencing symptoms.
