Thamesford is celebrating 100 years of the Calithumpian festival this weekend with plenty of events for the whole family.
THAMESFORD - Thamesford is celebrating 100 years of the Calithumpian festival this weekend.
Things kick off this afternoon with events happening every day on the Long weekend.
Some of the highlights today include the Children's Hospital BBQ, a kids home run derby the Miss/Mr Cali contest and the Cali Thumpian Cuties ball game.
Saturday's events will feature community yard sales, a Kids carnival, petting zoo, children's races, a road hockey tournament and a concert from the Practically Hip.
Sunday features the Wayne Pilkey Memorial Car Show, Trout Brunch, Thamesford Fire Fighters Car Wash, Lawnmower races and a Fireworks display.
Monday caps of the weekend with the Calithumpian parade, Bavarian Gardens, the Thamesford Art Group display and the Thamesford Public Library book sale.
These are just some of the events happening this weekend in Thamesford. The beer tent will be rocking all weekend long and it promises to be a fun weekend.
