Last Friday, Oxford OPP responded to an accident on Washington Street in Zorra Township. As a result, a 27-year-old Thamesford man is facing charges.
ZORRA TOWNSHIP - Oxford OPP have laid charges after an accident in Zorra Township.
Officers responded to the collision on Washington Street, where one vehicle hit an unoccupied parked vehicle.
Upon investigation, police determined the driver of the vehicle had been drinking. An Approved Screening Device was used, at which time the driver was arrested, and taken back to the detachment for further testing.
27-year-old Derek Heron of Thamesford is now facing a charge of Dangerous Driving, and a charge of Operation While Impaired (80 plus).
Heron will appear in Woodstock Court at a later date to face his charges.
