The Oxford County Animal Rescue will be hosting its annual Thanksgiving Bake Sale this Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
WOODSTOCK - You can grab some dessert for your Thanksgiving dinner while also supporting a great cause.
The Oxford County Animal Rescue will be hosting its annual Thanksgiving Bake Sale at its Woodstock office (789 Dundas Street) this Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Foster Coordinator Anna Holmes says they will have lots of brownies cookies, squares, and other sweet treats up for grabs.
"We usually have about a dozen pies and those are the things that go first, but then we just have a plethora of other goodies. We never really know, we put out the call for help to our volunteers and they always come through!"
Those who stop by will also be able to meet some of the cats they have up for adoption. The rescue currently has 20 cats, four dogs, and two bunnies listed under the adoption section of its website.
All of the money raised from the bake sale will help support the animals in the rescue's care.
Anna Holmes called the Heart FM studio for her monthly interview with Dan and Marcie on Wednesday October 4th. You can listen to the full interview below.
