Some of your favourite Saturday morning cartoon characters will be coming to the Woodstock Art Gallery next month.
WOODSTOCK - Bug Bunny, Tweety Bird and the rest of the Warner Brothers gang will be coming to the Woodstock Art Gallery.
Director Curator Mary Reid says they are excited to open the Art of the Warner Brothers Cartoon exhibition next month.
"We're bringing an entire exhibition that has the animation drawings and original cels from when they did this type of old school animations from the 1930's, 1940's and 1950's."
Reid says the exhibit will take you back in time to before animation went digital.
"Warner Brothers, unlike Disney had a very kind of dark sardonic humour to it. Even in the drawings you can see that kind of dry, witty, groaning laughter that goes on."
The big opening will take place on Saturday November 10th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free but it will only be in town until Saturday January 5th.
