Next weekend's show at the ITOPA Theatre will see the Buddy Ray Vons pay tribute to some of the English bands of the 1960s.
INGERSOLL - The British Invasion will be coming to the ITOPA Theatre in Ingersoll.
The show "Glad All Over: A Tribute To The British Invasion" will feature classic songs from some of the English bands of the 1960s, performed by cover band the Buddy Ray Vons.
Band member Jeff Scott says they get all ages out to the show.
"We'll get kids who are singing every word and the band ourselves are not baby boomers and we grew up loving this music, whether it was from our parents' record collection or whatever it was. It's just great music, it's timeless music."
The show will feature hits from The Beatles and The Rolling Stones. They'll also be playing hits from Herman's Hermits and The Dave Clark 5 and others.
Scott says there will be a lot of favourite Beatles songs that will be played.
"It will be a lot of fun, we have a great time. The band loves the music and we love watching people have a great time."
Scott adds they have been performing these shows for the last six years. He says they've been celebrating different landmarks of The Beatles with specific album shows, including a Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band anniversary show.
Tickets cost $30.00. They're no longer available online, however you may call the box office at 519-485-3070 for information on additional ticket availability.
The show is on January 11th and it starts at 7:30 pm.
