Education Minister Stephen Lecce says Dr. David Williams will make his next recommendation on Wednesday, providing clarity for parents and students still doing online learning.
ONTARIO - Education Minister Stephen Lecce says the Province will make another school announcement on Wednesday.
Many parents thought that Lecce and Dr. David Williams were going to make that announcement this morning after calling a press conference. Instead they announced $381 million dollars to help prepare schools for kids to come back to class.
Locally Elementary students in the TVDSB and LDCSB are doing in class learning today. However students from hot zone regions and nearby in Brant, Haldimand/Norfolk, Waterloo Region and Huron Perth are still doing online learning.
We expect to have more clarity on Wednesday. Lecce had previously stated he still wants to see all students back in Class by February 10th.
We want all students in all regions back to class.

The Government will provide certainty parents deserve by announcing on Wednesday the dates for reopening.
