The outbreak was first declared on January 21st. Over the past month a total of 54 residents and 23 staff members tested positive for COVID-19.
WOODSTOCK - The outbreak at the Caressant Care Retirement Home in Woodstock has officially be declared as resolved by Southwestern Public Health.
The outbreak was first declared on January 21st. Over the past month a total of 54 residents and 23 staff members tested positive for COVID-19. During the outbreak, 3 residents at the Retirement Home died with COVID-19.
The Retirement Home posted a message on Facebook thanking the dedicated staff who worked around the clock to battle the outbreak. Staff deserve a ton of credit for keeping this outbreak from reaching the nursing Home.
Caressant Care also posted about the loss of three dear residents saying their hearts go out to those effected.
