Embro's Thistle Theatre is getting ready to put on their next great comedy this weekend.
EMBRO - The latest production by Embro Thistle Theatre is sure to keep audience laughing.
The Nerd centers around an architect with the world on a string according to actor Peter Johnson.
"The Nerd is a hilarious comedy. It's about an architect and this architect is designing a hotel and he has the world by the tail, except he has to deal with this guy who's kind of the owner of 8 hotels, and Doug [the actor portraying the hotel owner] just tends to make this guy quite cantankerous."
Doug Turvey plays the hotel mogul, and he says the language could get a little dicey.
"The younger generation - 12 and under - might not appreciate some of the language in it. Because I am the crusty guy, I do tend to swear a fair bit. But it is a good, funny show for the family."
Performances are on November 18, 19, and 20th as well as November 24, 25, and 26.
