Three people were taken to the hospital and all three were charged with assault with a weapon and assault causing bodily harm after a vicious fight on Main Street.
WOODSTOCK - Three people were taken to the hospital after an assault on Main Street in Woodstock this morning.
Police were called to a report of suspects trying to steal a catalytic converter around 3:00 am. Police are being tight lipped on the details, we can tell you a fight between three people occured and weapons were involved. All three were taken to the hospital and they were also arrested and charged.
A 49 year old man from Woodstock was charged with two counts of assault with a weapon and two counts of assault causing bodily harm. A 46 year old woman from Kitchener was charged with assault with a weapon and assault with bodily harm and dangerous operation causing bodily harm. A 43 year old man from Kitchener was charged with assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm and mischief under $5,000.
Police are asking the public to report any thefts of catalytic converters and any suspicious or criminal activity by contacting the Woodstock Police Service at 519-537-2323.
