There are 11 cases in Oxford County today and there are 65 cases in Elgin and St.Thomas after one new case and seven recoveries were reported.
OXFORD/ELGIN/ST.THOMAS - Southwestern Public Health is reporting three recoveries in Oxford County today.
They say three people have recovered in Norwich, bringing their total number of cases down to two cases and 11 overall in the County. There are still nine cases in Tillsonburg.
Meanwhile one new case was reported in Elgin and St.Thomas along with seven recoveries, bringing their total to 65 cases.
There have been four outbreaks since the pandemic began, with the latest one declared at the Terrace Lodge on July 31st and it involves one staff member. The three previous outbreaks have since been resolved.
To date, the health unit has had 199 cumulative cases with 117 cases resolved and five deaths.
SWPH has tested 18,483 people so far, receiving 17,950 of the test results and 17,751 have come back negative.
