A London man is facing impaired driving charges after a three vehicle crash involving a school bus and a transport in South-West Oxford.
SOUTH-WEST OXFORD - Two people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries after a three vehicle crash involving a transport truck and a school bus.
No children were on the bus at the time of the collision. The crash happened at the intersection of Beachville Road and Foldens Line in South West Oxford on Tuesday morning just before 7.
The crash was caused by a car that allegedly failed to stop at the stop sign, hitting the bus. The impact of the crash caused the bus to collide with a transport truck that was heading southbound on Beachville Road.
The driver of the car had to be extricated from his vehicle and was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the bus also went to the hospital with minor injuries while the driver of the transport was not injured.
The roadway was closed for several hours yesterday following the collision. The 31 year old male driver of the car from London was charged with impaired driving.
