The Applejacks take game four in Wellesley
The Applejacks and Merchants are now tied in the first round of the Midwestern Junior C hockey playoffs.
Norwich travelled to Wellesley Wednesday night with a 2-1 series lead, but they didn't have enough to grab the demanding 3-1 series lead.
The Applejacks dominated the Merchants with a 4-1 victory to tie the series at 2-2 with game five set for Friday night in Norwich. Puck drops there at 8:00 pm.
The Braves and Firebirds continue their series Friday in Tavistock at 7:30 pm. New Hamburg lead that series 2-1.
