In the wake of Tillsonburg's CAO's resignation, special meetings have been cancelled. The Town's Council decided to put the 2013 Budget Process on hold until a new CAO is hired. The meetings were scheduled to start next Thursday, November 1st. Tillsonburg's Mayor John Lessif says the process is moving along. "We've engaged the Manager of Human Resources for Oxford County, Janice Kubiak who's quarterbacking this process for us. We've engaged a HR consulting firm to help us with the process. We have not yet posted the position but that will be done very shortly". Lessif says it's important to give the new CAO time to adjust and get a sense of council's thinking byt wanted to make clear that council has not stopped their work. Former CAO Kelley Coulter resigned without much notice last month.
