Annadale National Historic Site is the place to be in Tillsonburg on Canada Day for the celebration.
TILLSONBURG - Oxford County is gearing up for Canada's birthday.
On Tuesday, Tillsonburg will be hosting an event at Annadale National Historic Site. Cultural Heritage Manager/Curator, Kate Bakos, says what people can expect during the day.
"We have treats for all, so we have complementary cake, cotton candy, snow cones, and popcorn. We also have carnival games, and we also have the museum open for folks to participate in our find the otters scavenger hunt throughout the house, as well as our guess the Jelly Beans Challenge."
She adds that some of the carnival games include a ring toss, large Jenga, and a large Connect Four. Bakos mentions there is no cost for the day.
"No, it's a completely complementary day and entry to the museum is by donation only, and there will be fireworks at Memorial Park in the evening."
The festivities begin at 11 a.m. and will run until 3:30 p.m. at the Museum.
