A devastating fire in Paris over the weekend caused nearly a million dollars in damage and also claimed the life of several family pets.
PARIS - A devastating fire in Paris over the weekend caused nearly a million dollars in damage and also claimed the life of several family pets.
OPP and Fire responded to the blaze Saturday night around 10. Attending firefighters arrived on scene and were met with a fully engulfed house fire. The fire was subsequently extinguished however a family dog and several other pets had perished.
Victim Services of Brant were subsequently contacted to assist the homeowners.
The damage is estimated between $850,000 and $1,000,000.
