The National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation at the University of Manitoba is hosting a variety of online programs this week.
Truth and Reconciliation week starts today.
This is a 5 day national event. Thursday is a Federal Holiday, which means banks and other federally regulated businesses will be closed. Schools will be open and children will be encouraged to wear orange to support the Every Child Matters movement.
The National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation at the University of Manitoba is hosting a variety of online programs this week. It will include conversations about Indigenous treaties, First Nation, Métis, and Inuit land claims, and the residential schools system.
You can find more information on the programs online here.
