Ten new confirmed or probable cases of COVID-19 have been reported within the TVDSB. All staff and students at Sir Arthur Currie PS in London will also switch to online learning today.
TVDSB - The Thames Valley District School Board has decided to temporarily close another school ahead of the winter break.
All staff and students at Sir Arthur Currie Public School in London will switch to online learning today and they're hoping to be back in the classroom on January 3rd. The school board says a suspected case of COVID-19 with possible connections to previous cases has caused operational challenges within the school.
A total of 10 new confirmed or probable cases of COVID-19 were reported within the entire Thames Valley District School Board last night. This includes just one case in Oxford County and it affects Hickson Central Public School.

The school board has already reached out to all of the affected parents, guardians and staff members. This means if you have not received a letter from Thames Valley, your child is not considered to be at risk. The Thames Valley District School Board has announced the following COVID related school closures over the past few weeks.
- Hickson Central Public School - online learning began on December 16th and in-person classes are scheduled to resume on January 3rd, 2022.
- Woodland Heights Public School (London) - online learning began on December 16th and in-person classes are scheduled to resume on January 3rd, 2022.
- West Oaks French Immersion Public School (London) - online learning began on December 16th and in-person classes are scheduled to resume on January 3rd, 2022.
- Caradoc Public School (Mount Brydges) - online learning began on December 14th and in-person classes are scheduled to resume on January 3rd, 2022.
- Westmount Public School (London) - online learning began on December 13th and in-person classes are scheduled to resume on January 3rd, 2022.
- Princess Elizabeth Public School (London) - online learning began on December 10th and in-person classes are scheduled to resume on January 3rd, 2022.
