It was a tough school year with the lockdowns and online learning, but the TVDSB was still able to achieve record breaking graduation rates last year.
LONDON/MIDDLESEX/OXFORD - The Thames Valley District School Board is reporting a record breaking graduation rate for last year.
It's currently sitting at 83 percent and this marks the fourth consecutive year where the rate has been above 80 percent.
It was a memorable school year with the lockdowns and online learning, but Director of Education Mark Fisher says the school board remains committed to providing individualized support for all students.
“Despite the obstacles to teaching and learning created by the COVID-19 pandemic last year, we succeeded in providing our students with the supports they needed to graduate.”
He says Thames Valley will do whatever it can to make sure that each student has all the tools they need to get their diploma.
