WOODSTOCK - Staff at a local hotel alerted the Woodstock Police Service of a possible weapon and drugs left inside a guest room on Saturday.
As a result of the investigation, a search warrant was executed and two males were arrested. Police charged 19 year old Kameron Pope-White of London with two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Police say they contained the area to one floor of the hotel until the room was searched.
Although police were on scene most of the day and into the evening, there was no threat to public safety, as the individuals responsible were apprehended immediately.
