Music and art will collide for a special Christmas benefit concert in Woodstock.
WOODSTOCK - Music and art will come together for a special Christmas show in Woodstock.
Theatre Woodstock will host Christmas Concert & Benefit on December 2nd, where musicians will perform a variety of songs while award-winning artist Paul Murray paints behind a 16 foot backdrop.
Murray says you'll be entertained throughout the entire show.
"I'm painting so many different styles on stage. One painting may be done upside down, the next painting may be done with several panels that make one painting. You're guessing through the whole show."
The benefit concert is aimed at helping and inspiring young, local artists to go after their dreams. Proceeds from the event will go towards the Ronald McDonald Charity House Southwestern Chapters and Make A Wish Foundation.
Murray says this is the type of holiday concert that is meant for the whole family.
"It's great for the whole family. It's not just for people, it's for kids from 5 (years old) to 95 (years old), and Santa Claus is going to be a part of it."
A VIP meet and greet is scheduled an hour before the event. The show will start at 3:30pm.
You can purchase tickets at the Theatre Woodstock or at www.paulmurray.com/music.
