You can get your hair cut and support Big Brothers Big Sisters in downtown Woodstock tomorrow.
WOODSTOCK - Hair Power in downtown Woodstock is hosting a fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Woodstock and District.
Fundraising and Marketing Assistant Shaylyn Jackson says everybody should come out and get a haircut on Sunday, and support a great cause at the same time.
"So they are doing kind of a third party fundraiser for us to celebrate Big Brothers Big Sisters month being in September. You can walk in, get your haircut and all proceeds will go to Big Brothers Big Sisters."
The fundraiser runs from a 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Jackson says they are also excited for their Annual Big Car show on Sunday September 23rd.
"We will be at the Canadian Tire parking lot in Woodstock, there will be lots of really cool cars and trucks. If you have a car you want to enter, it does cost $10 to enter a vehicle but it's free if you just want to stop by and check it out. We will have an engine blow up, 50-50 and all kinds of cool stuff going on."
September is Big Brothers Big Sisters month in Woodstock and local businesses are encouraged to participate by setting up purple displays or using purple colours at the store front.
