WOODSTOCK - The Victoria Day weekend is about to begin in the Friendly City.
The World's Finest Show Midway will open in Southside Park at 5:00 p.m. today and it will be open every day leading up to the holiday Monday.
Kristen Broadhagen, Woodstock's Manager of Special Events, says they will have lots of rides to check out.
"We have everyone's favourite the Ferris Wheel along with the kiddie rides, the Dizzy Dragons, Pharaoh's Fury, Magic Carpet Fun House, the Big Slide, Tornado and more!"
It's free to visit the midway, but you do have to pay if you want to go on the rides. The tickets cost $1.50 each or you can take advantage of the bundle deals with 10 for $15, 22 for $32, 40 for $55. You can also purchase a $35 a ride all day pass for Friday.
The midway will also have food and games on site for families to enjoy. You can find more information, including the midways operating hours, on the City of Woodstock website.
